Our Story

Kona Bar started in 2010 from the founder’s love of chocolate covered espresso beans. Raising the “bar” with a perfect balance of Kona coffee beans (the gold standard of coffee) chocolate and exotic third note flavors,
Kona Bar was born.

We have a philosophy of balance—
a balance of flavor,
new and unique ingredients focusing on the richness of the South Pacific, and of course passion in everything we do.

Kona Bar now sells thousands of bars daily via our special events at Costco, through our fantastic distributor in Hawaii - K&K Distribution and via our online store.
Kona Bar has been exclusively a Hawaiian product since inception in 2010.
Late 2023 Kona Bar launched into the
So Cal market, Los Angeles Region.


Our Ingredients

We work with local farmers to source all of our Kona coffee beans and Macadamia nuts on the Big Island.
Our brand is human—from the farmers who mill and harvest to the production line who put passion and care into each bar they make.
